BRAIN WAVE TECHNOLOGY
Every year, new and exciting features are added to the Project K.I.D.S. program. This year's new addition is brain wave technology, where we examine the activity of the brain while the child performs a simple computer game. Brain wave technology, known as ERP (Evoked Response Potentials), is a non-invasive procedure where a cap is placed on the child's head. Sensors are placed all over the cap, which then allows us to record the brain's activity. A special type of gel is placed on the sensors and the child's head, so as to make sure the brain waves are being properly recorded. By the end of the recording, that gel will make sure there will be some weird and wacky hairdo's!! Mums and Dads - there is no need to worry. We won't send your child home looking like punk rockers! We will help the kids wash and dry their hair after the recording has finished. With the new addition of brain wave technology into the Project K.I.D.S. program, we can now gather even more information on the brain, how it works and broaden the knowledge we have on children's growth and development.
